As an intern in the Purchasing Department, you can expect to be involved in the following tasks:
Support for the Purchasing Team (administrative and operational tasks related to the purchase of materials and components for production; collaboration with buyers on optimizing purchasing processes; updating databases and supplier overviews)
Communication with Suppliers (providing necessary documentation for purchasing decisions; resolving discrepancies in deliveries and invoicing)
Supplier Evaluation (collecting and analyzing key supplier performance indicators)
Searching for New Suppliers (active market research and search for new suppliers; approaching potential partners and evaluating their offers)
Support in Tender Processes (assisting in selecting suppliers for indirect materials, transportation, and other services; collecting, analyzing, and comparing bids; evaluating supplier options based on predefined criteria)
Market and Trend Monitoring (tracking price developments for raw materials, materials, and other commodities; analyzing the availability of key components; keeping up with new technologies and materials in the purchasing sector within engineering)
We offer appropriate financial compensation, with the final amount determined based on the interview. Interns can also expect a meal allowance in our company canteen as well as a transportation allowance. If needed, we can arrange accommodation in our company apartment in Štěnovice at a discounted rate.
