The student will gain insight into technological processes in production, conduct time analyses, optimize manufacturing tools, and test new machines. Additionally, they will participate in the digitalization of production and investment projects. The internship will result in proposals for improving production efficiency and digital reporting. The intern will be involved in the management and optimization of production processes, monitoring work efficiency, and implementing measures to improve them. They will participate in the introduction of new technological and operational procedures, testing and evaluating production tools, including optimizing their use. Internship Assignment – Makigami Analysis of Non-Production Processes

Topic:

Identification of inefficient activities in non-production processes using Makigami analysis and proposal for optimization.

Goals:

Get familiar with the Makigami method and its application to non-production processes. Map and analyze a selected process, identify waste (Muda). Propose measures to improve process efficiency. Implement some of the proposed improvements and evaluate their impact.

Implementing a digital packaging documentation system ensures the correct assignment of packaging methods to individual parts and facilitates their tracking throughout the logistics chain.

2. DIGITALIZATION OF WORK RECORDS AND MATERIAL FLOWS IN THE CP SYSTEM

Effective production management requires digital recording of work activities and material consumption. The CP system enables logging of additional work, parts write-offs, and activity assignment to individual projects. Digitalizing this system will provide better visibility into production operations and allow integration with other digital platforms.

3. DIGITALIZATION OF THE PAINTING PROCESS AND ITS INTEGRATION INTO MES – PI

The painting process is a critical part of production, where precise recording and parameter tracking enable better quality control and more efficient capacity management. The digitalization of the painting process and its integration into MES – PI will ensure automated data collection and real-time decision-making.

Student will work on tasks delivering solutions for Business Intelligence (BI) area. The complete workflow can cover one or more of these team roles: Business Analyst, Data Engineer, Power BI Report Designer. We cooperate in international teams connecting members from several countries with various accents so there is a weekly or daily contact with English speaking colleges. The student will learn practical and recent technologies and will get some insights into complexity of automotive software development process. Technology stack may content part or all of those: [SQL Server, Power BI, GIT, Python, Databricks, Azure, Mongo DB]. The list is ranged from most used to least. (SQL as the most used)

The student will be part of the digitization team, which focuses on optimizing internal processes. Projects are handled using low-code/no-code technologies (Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint) or standard software development (Python, HTML, Django, Openshift, Docker). The student will be involved in broader activities of the digitization team, gaining practical insight into its functioning. At the same time, they will work on their own tasks for specific digitization projects. Digitization is about continuous improvement, so it is important to constantly look for new opportunities to improve internal processes and actively participate in their implementation.
